Dont want to offend, but did u design that page back in 1995? I can barely understand whats written is in english. It would be better just plain black text over white background. And use arial or verdana, they'll make bold text look a lot better then bold impact. Ohh and i cant see the images

i can read its in Englisht, what i said was that one can barely understand the text is in english (barely understand == understand with difficulty), and not then read and follow the tutorial. As i said dont want to offend, but the simple design of the site was really bad.

it's a html made tutorial, it was supposed to be just plain design, cuz if i posted it directly in this topic with all pics people would be 'forced' to load all the stuff from it. I can read it fine don't know how you can't, it's a normal english text. I've seen much worse english written texts and no-one said anything. I have fixed the dead pictures just for the record.
Take it as an optional tutorial, cuz it is, no-one's forcing anyone to read it, just ignore it if the style bothers you. Btw, this is not a flame post, i am just saying.

no one said its a flame post and im not trying to flame it. Just giving advices for it to look better. Now that u changed the background to white it better, but that impact font isnt looking so good. I would go for verdana.
And yeah, nice tutorial (now that i saw it with images). If u had included making 1px border around the canvas it would be flawless. Anyway nice job

lol i actually meant that my reply to your reply isn't meant to be a flame post.
But thnx, i have changed it to Verdana, now it should be more visible.
Btw, there is a stroke 1px if u look all the way down there, i wrote there Use Layer - Layer Style - Stroke.

Better now. About stroke, i meant one for the whole userbar:
<> Create New Layer (CTRL + SHIFT + N)
<> Fill (CTRL + BACKSPACE) and set Fill Opacity to 0.
<> Apply a Stroke effect (Blending Options)
- Size: 1px
- Position: Inside
Just a kinda add-on to your tutorial, but anyway good work.

That was one bothersome way to do it..
easiest way is: New Layer -> Ctrl+A (select entire layer) -> Right click -> Stroke 1px inside black.

bothersome? U have to put the same amount of time to make the stroke with your "technique". Did u say that after the CTRL+A u have to select one of the selection tools, so when u right click, it brings up the selection options menu? Another way doesnt mean a better way. Anyway i can find lots of techniques to make that stroke:
- With a path rectangle and then stroke path
- CTRL+A, Select Menu>Modify>Border, Fill
Just find which one is best for u.

I just don't understand why you would fill a new layer and set Fill Opacity to 0, it's not at all necessary
