Tips on making a Userbar better!

*Use a 1px border.
*Use the font ""Visitor TT2 (BRK)"
*Text always on top.
*Opacity of the white ellipsis to 30%.
*Scanlines Opacity 40% or less.

Other:
If you are looking for pictures. Find big pictures (e.g. 600 x 700) So you can alway make they small!

i always use 35% for the white ellepsis and Scanlines Smiley..

- for the white ellipse i usually use 30% - 40%, depending on the background.
- for scanlines, no more then 20%, usually 10-15%.
- when mixing photos with the background (color or image) try using blending modes combined with levels. It can be achieved great results.
- try to choose the right color for the text, so it can be easily seen. Usually a white text with a 1px stroke is easily seen and combines with all colors.
- usually images which stay fit to the canvas look bad. Try making them bigger and showing just a part, that part that gives the idea of the image. This applies mostly to logos (texts or shapes).
