Hey Everyone,

I am new to this site and fairly new to Userbars...

I have made a few basic ones... about 10 in total....

However there are some things I am missing,

I am using photoshop 5, which most of you would admit is pretty basic.... Are there any tutorils for photoshop 5 but they still have the same outcome as photoshop CS?

Also, Is there anywhere I can BUY a cheap CS? or download it....

thanks.

This should have probably been posted in the "How to make userbars" section, the "New Userbars" section is for posting new userbars you have created. Anyway, there are lots of tutorials here http://www.userbars.org/forum/index.php/board,20.0.html some of them may work in Photoshop 5.

Yes you could download Photoshop CS for free, but thats illegal so no  Angry, You might be able to get a cheap copy off ebay though.

I would recomend Photoshop Elements though, visit the Adobe Website and download a free trial, I think its better than CS, but thats for you to decide.

Theres no real difference really, just the interface is slightly different, I think elements is slightly easier to use. It may just be because I use Elements more.

Elements is aimed at photographers since they don't need all the tools required by professional graphic designers. Some powerful plugins are missing, but things such as red eye reduction are present.

Elements is about one sixth the cost, so it is used by many who cant afford
