Creating userbars by a complete noob

hey

I want to create my own userbars and have looked around a few places on guides and tutorials, but all of them are really confusing to me. i am completely new to photoshop and have version C2. i don't have any basic knowledge in photoshop either.

The furthest i've got so far on creating a userbar is the point where u create the squares with the pencil toolbar - after this i don't have an idea how to add the image or carrying on further.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks

don't matter i know how to make a basic one now. Now for the animated stuff

yes reading  the tutorials over and over with photo shop open and you get it evaluational

Tip, When Using any software, learn what all the tools do and mess around with it. When I got PSP8 it had alot changes, so I sat down and messed around for around for a couple of hours.

do you use imageready for making the userbars animated and flashy?

and there animation tutorials aswell.

so might wanna check that
