hello everyone.

I use paint shop pro 7 and I have a problem while resizing the images i want to put into my sidebar.

there is my procedure while creating a new userbar.

  • i create a new document 350x19
  • i get an image from the internet the best resolution possible
  • i paste it as new level in my userbar document
  • i click on the deform tool to resize it and eventually rotate, but most of the time i get an error message that states that the dimensions of the deformed image is greater than the admitted value

what does it mean?

I also have to say that sometimes I don't get this error, but could not understand why.

The only solution I've found is to create a larger document (350x350+), edit my userbar in this doc, and then cut the exceeding image...but it's not an easy way.

is there an alternative solution? am i doing something wrong?
thank you all
bye Smiley

well, where i move it?

i usually copy the image from the internet (right click - copy image), then paste it as new image in PSP, then eventually make a selection of the part of interest, and finally paste the selection as new level into my userbar document...then, clicking the deform, if i try to move, deform or rotate the new image i get the state error...this doesn't happen if i create my userbar with a larger document and then cut...

That's weird.
What's weirder, I never get error messages.
Suggestion: Upgrade to PSP9. Tongue
